Yvette Cornelia Holzwarth is the fun aunt who writes songs or books for her nephew at any cause for celebration. The picture book “The Chinese Zoodiac Band” may be her first foray into children’s writing and illustrating, but it combines long-held passions including the study of American Literature at UCLA, over fifteen years teaching music and violin, and her Chinese-American heritage which she hopes to share with other children.
